I think you've pretty much nailed it, but I think that an agricultural world would potentially be able to export more than food. Liquor, narcotics, and luxury goods like exotic body care products and perfumes and luxury textiles that could only be produced on such a world come to mind.

Wow! I think a queue system is the way to go. The player would hover and wait and accelerate time until they get landing clearance. Perhaps a VIP landing pass could be purchased which would move you up to the head of the line. As far as coping with the limited number of landing pads, just add more s...

I have a wish, and it's probably a big one. I wish that the aerodynamic characteristics of a ship would be consistant with its form. Maybe a few tables and you pick from the closest match. Some of the ships would have to travel at aircraft speeds through an atmosphere and some could do mach 20 as a ...

Green screen interlaced monitors in 3200? Actually that could be nice for simulating the resolution you get with the handwavium instant communication device. People in your ship and in the same spaceport as you would be in full color. It could add to the sense of immersion.

This is probably a streatch, but would it be possible to animate the faces? I'm thinking of having them blink and look around and appear to mouth words when they talk to you. Maybe even yawn if ther'e bored.

Also, this is a system that's 5 light years wide! It seems that Pioneer doesn't have solar systems that are unrealistically large at all.
